The 2009 VYPD Workshop and Concert
It’s on again, this year’s Youth Band workshop and concert is looking to be even bigger and better than ever! This year we have four international tutors: Tyler Fry, James Laughlin, Jori Chisholm and Richard Hawke.

Who can participate
The Youth Band is open to any school age Victorian piper or drummer. Players from all bands, both country and city, are encouraged to participate. Please indicate on the registration form if you require billeted accommodation.

When and where it’s happening
The workshop will run from Tuesday 29th September, and finish on Friday 2nd October. That’s the last week of the school holidays, so plan your holidays accordingly!
Classes run from 9 am to 4pm daily. The concert will take place in the evening on Friday 2nd October. It will be nonresidential, requiring students to attend classes from 9 am to 4pm daily, and will be held at PLC in the facilities of the Music School. The concert will take place at Scotch College’s James Forbes Academy on evening of Friday 2nd October.
